【摘要】:Themeasuredvaluesaretractionpropertiesoftiresobtainedwiththetowedtrailerdescribedhereonagivenroadsurface,undergivenenvironmentalconditions(ambientandroadsurfacetemperature,humidity,windspeedanddirection,purityandfilmdepthofwaterusedtowettheroadsurface).Theyarecarriedoutinaccordancewiththestatedtestproceduresandreflecttheperformanceofthetotaltire-vehicleenvironmentalsystem.Achangeinanyofthesefactorsmaychangethemeasurementsonasubsequentrunofthetest.Thesetestmethodsaresuitableforresearchanddevelopmentpurposes,wheretiresarecomparedduringasingleseriesoftests.Theymaynotbesuitableforregulatorystatutesorspecificationacceptance,becausethevaluesobtainedmaynotnecessarilyagreeorcorrelateeitherinrankorderorabsolutetractionperformancelevelwiththoseobtainedonotherroadsurfaces(orthesamesurfaceafteradditionalwear),underotherenvironmentalconditions,orothertowedtrailers,orothertestdevices,orwithresultsobtainedwithothertestprocedures.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofbrakingtractionoftiresdesignedforpassengercarsorlighttrucks.Suchbrakingtractionmeasurementsareapplicabletoconditionswhereinthevehicleistravelingstraightaheadonawet,pavedsurface.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
