【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresidualacrylonitrile(RAN)contentinnitrile-butadienerubbers(NBR),styrene-acrylonitrile(SAN)copolymers,andrubber-modifiedacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)resins.Anycomponentsthatcangenerateacrylonitrileintheheadspaceprocedurewillconstituteaninterference.Thepresenceof3-hydroxypropionitrileinlaticeslimitsthisproceduretoanyrubbersandresins.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregivenNotes4and5.Note1--ThereisnocurrentISOequivalenttestmethodforresidualacrylonitrile(RAN)determinations.
