【摘要】:Thepermissiblelevelofheavymetalsincertaincoatingsisspecifiedbygovernmentalregulatoryagencies.Thistestmethodprovidesafullydocumentedprocedurefordetermininglowconcentrationsofantimonypresentinbothwater-andsolvent-reduciblecoatingstodeterminecompliance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecontentofantimonyintherangebetween50and200ppm(mg/kg)presentinthesolidsofliquidcoatingsorindriedfilmsobtainedfrompreviouslycoatedsubstrates.Thereisnoreasontobelievethathigherlevelscouldnotbedeterminedbythistestmethod,providedthatappropriatedilutionsandadjustmentsinspecimensizeandreagentquantitiesaremade.1.2&si-value;Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection.
