【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtoprovidealistofstandardproceduresfortestprogramsinvestigatingthechemicalresistanceofageomembranewithaliquidwaste,leachate,orchemical.Thispracticeshouldbeusedintheabsenceofotherspecificationsrequiredfortheparticularsituationbeingaddressed.Chemicalresistance,asusedinthispractice,isnotaquantifiableterm.Thispracticeisintendedtoprovideabasisofstandardizationforthosewishingtocompareorinvestigatethechemicalresistanceofageomembrane.Itshouldberecognizedthatchemicalresistanceisauserjudgementevaluationandthatthispracticedoesnotofferproceduresforinterpretingtheresultsobtainedfromtestprocedurescontainedinthispractice.Asapractice,thisdoesnotproduceatestresult.Note28212;Thispracticeisforthechemicalresistanceassessmentofgeomembranesandiswritteninparalleltosimilarstandardpracticesforgeotextiles,geonets,geogrids,geopipes,andgeosyntheticclayliners.Eachstandardistobeconsideredindividuallyforthegeosyntheticunderinvestigationandcollectivelyforallgeosyntheticsexposedtothepotentiallyharshchemicalenvironmentunderconsideration.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforthetestingofgeomembranesforchemicalresistancewithliquidwastes,preparedchemicalsolutions,andleachatesderivedfromsolidwastes.1.2Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestingsemi-crystalline,amorphous,elastomeric,andfabric-reinforcedgeomembranes.1.3ThispracticeisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithPracticeD5322orPracticeD5496,orboth.Thescopeofthispracticeislimitedtotestingandreportingproceduresforunexposedandexposedgeomembranesamples.1.4Evaluationandinterpretationoftestdataarebeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
